XF-62 Olive Drab 10ml

Tamiya XF-62 Olive Drab — enamel paint, 10 ml

This is an enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint from the Japanese firm Tamiya in the olive shade Olive Drab. The XF line designation means a matte (flat) finish. The package volume is 10 ml. The paint covers well, is applied with a brush or an airbrush and, once dry, forms a durable matte surface typical of military equipment.

Use

• Suitable for plastic, metal and resin models, especially armored and wheeled vehicles.
• Olive Drab is the classic shade for American military equipment and suits armor and vehicles of the Second World War period and later.
• It is applied with a brush or an airbrush; for spraying it is thinned with Tamiya X-20 enamel thinner (note: not with the acrylic X-20A).
• The matte surface is a suitable base beneath washes, drybrushing and pigments for bringing weathering out.

Who it is for

The paint will be appreciated by military modelers who work with enamel paints and build American armor and vehicles. The matte olive tone is practical as an overall color and as a base for weathering.

Safety note: the paint is flammable and solvent-based. Work in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame and out of the reach of children.
