Yellow stripes – decals 1:72 is a sheet set of wet decals from Techmod with yellow stripes of various widths for making identification bands on aircraft models.

The set contains wet decals with yellow stripes in several widths on two sheets. They are used for making straight identification and recognition bands, leading edges and other yellow areas that are awkward to spray. It is not a model and not a paint, but a decal aid.
You cut stripes of the length and width you need from the sheets and transfer them onto the model as a decal. That saves you the slow masking and the spraying of yellow, which tends to be a problem because of its low covering power. The colored area is even and has sharp edges.
Apply them onto a smooth, glossy base (it can be overcoated with gloss). Use a decal softener so that the band settles onto shaped surfaces. Once dry, go over it with matte or semi-gloss varnish to even the surface out.
This is a decal set, not a model or a paint. The model, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
