Top Studio hex rivets 0.8 mm – brass (version C)

This is a fine detail accessory from Top Studio, not a kit. The package holds a set of turned brass imitations of hexagonal rivets and bolt heads 0.8 mm in diameter. They replace flat plastic bumps with crisply shaped metal joints.

Use

  • On the engine, the chassis, the frame and the body of car and motorcycle models.
  • A fine hole is drilled in the plastic and the rivet is glued in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • The brass surface can be left as it is or painted over to the metal shade you want.
  • Tweezers and a steady hand help when handling the parts.

Who it is for

  • For advanced modelers who want to raise the realism of a model.
  • For builders of competition and collector car and motorcycle models.

The accessory does not make up a model on its own. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.

No, it is a detail accessory. It holds brass imitations of hexagonal rivets for dressing up another model.

A fine hole is drilled in the plastic and the rivet is glued into it with super glue. We recommend tweezers.
