The designation P 204 (f) was used by the German army for the captured French armored cars it took over after 1940; the letter in brackets referred to the country of origin. Some of these vehicles got new armament and were used for patrol and security duties. This item captures the form with the 5 cm KwK 38 cannon, whose barrel is 42 calibers long: the L/42 figure in the designation is not the caliber but exactly that barrel length.
Parts for building a model of the vehicle in 1:100 scale. The list of parts and the sequence of the build are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The scale is small, and the finished vehicle comes out at just under five centimeters, so the set suits a mass scene and a gaming table rather than a display case with a single large model.
Work over a closed box and with tweezers; a part that drops onto the carpet in this scale will practically never be found. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the rest with fine paper. The barrel of the cannon is the most delicate part of the whole build, so fit it last. Wash and degrease the whole thing before painting. Lighten the base shade a little in a small scale and add the shadows afterward with a darker glaze, otherwise the edges and shapes merge into one surface.
