A cut-out card model of Czechoslovak heavy fortification, the MO-S19 Alej infantry casemate, in 1:1000 scale from the publisher ROP. The model is supplied as printed card sheets to be cut out and glued together. Paper kits do not need painting.
The MO-S19 Alej work belongs to the lines of Czechoslovak heavy border fortification built in the second half of the 1930s. Infantry casemates formed the backbone of the defensive system and were designed for flanking fire along the obstacle belts. To this day they are sought-after technical monuments.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife along the outline, score the fold lines lightly with a shallow cut and glue them with good paper or PVA glue. The cut edges can be touched in with a suitable color so that they do not show as white card. In 1:1000 scale this is a small but striking model for a collection of fortifications.
This is a cut-out card kit. A knife, glue and a cutting mat are not included in the package.
