A cut-out card model of Czechoslovak heavy fortification, the T-S55 Na strani infantry casemate, in 1:1000 scale from the publisher ROP. It is supplied as printed card sheets to be cut out and glued together. The paper kit does not need painting.
The T-S55 Na strani work belongs to the lines of Czechoslovak heavy border fortification built in the second half of the 1930s. Infantry casemates were key elements of the defensive line and were built for flanking fire along the obstacle belts. The surviving works are prized technical monuments today.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife along the outline, score the folds lightly and glue them with paper or PVA glue. It is a good idea to touch in the white cut edges with a suitable color. In 1:1000 scale the result is a small but detailed model for a collection of fortifications or for a landscape diorama.
This is a cut-out card kit. A knife, glue and a cutting mat are not included in the package.
