Injection-molded plastic kit of the American AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. The model is designed as a snap-fit, with the parts clicking together without glue, so even a beginner or a younger modeler will manage it. In the box you will find plastic parts and a decal sheet.
The AH-64 Apache is a two-seat American attack helicopter with a tandem cockpit layout (gunner in front, pilot behind) and a four-blade main rotor. Its armament consists of a 30 mm cannon under the fuselage, anti-tank guided missiles and unguided rocket pods. It serves as the main strike helicopter of a number of armies around the world.
Even snap-fit joints are best secured with a drop of thin cement for plastic for strength. Assemble the rotor head with the main rotor and the tail rotor, and pay attention to the external stores on the stub wings and to the landing gear. Glue the small cockpit glazing in place only after painting and mask its edges. It is best to lay down a primer and airbrush a dark green or gray; the details come to life with a dry brush and light emphasis on the engraved lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
