Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut self-adhesive Peewit masks in 1:144 scale for models of the German single-seat Heinkel He 162A jet fighter. The masks follow the framing of the canopy glazing exactly and make it possible to spray sharp color transitions without laborious cutting.
The Heinkel He 162, nicknamed the Volksjäger, was a German single-seat jet fighter from the very end of the Second World War. It was characterized by the jet engine mounted on top of the fuselage behind the cockpit and by the pair of rudders on its tail surfaces. The machine was created as a simple interceptor that could be built quickly.
Stick the masks onto the clean and degreased glazing of the model and press the edges down carefully so that the paint does not run underneath. Then spray the framing in the airframe color and, once it has dried, lift the masks off carefully. Thanks to the die-cut shape the laborious cutting of tape with a knife is avoided, which makes the work considerably easier in a small scale.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
