This is an aftermarket accessory from the Czech maker Brengun, not a kit. According to the name the box holds two identical photo-etched sets, which is practical in a small scale: 1:144 kits are often sold two to a box, so a modeler does not have to buy the accessory twice. The parts are fitted to the plastic MiG-21bis model named in the title.
The MiG-21bis is the last major production version of the Soviet single-engine fighter. Compared with the older versions it received a more powerful engine and revised airframe and instrument equipment. It served in a number of countries long after the end of the Cold War and is among the most widespread jet fighters of all, so it is a common and rewarding subject in collections.
Hard etched metal likes to spring back when bent and on more complex parts it can crack. Annealing helps: hold the part in the flame of a lighter or a candle with tweezers for a moment, until it darkens slightly, and let it cool. That softens the material and the bend stays where you put it. Anneal carefully and only briefly, because overheated thin sheet warps. After annealing, degrease the part with alcohol again, and only then prime it and bond it with super glue.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, which it does not include. The parts are supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
