1:144 Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden Jack - a canopy mask from Dead Design for spraying the frames of the cabin of this miniature interceptor cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A die-cut masking template from the maker Dead Design, intended for spraying the frames of the canopy on a model of the fighter Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden in 1:144 scale. Instead of the lengthy and risky business of framing with a brush, all you need do is seat the mask on the clear part, spray the colors and, once it is off, you have perfectly sharp lines on the frames.
The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden, Jack by the Allied code, was an interceptor of the Imperial Japanese Navy from the design bureau of Jiro Horikoshi. Unlike the agile Zero it was built for speed and rate of climb: it hid its massive Kasei radial engine behind an extended cowling with forced cooling. The J2M3 version carried an armament of four 20 mm cannon in the wing, and the type became famous above all in the defense of the Japanese islands against the raids of B-29 bombers.
The mask is intended for admirers of 1:144 scale and of Japanese aviation who want even a small model to stand up to a close look - a clean cabin is the most visible detail on a small model.
This is a painting mask, that is an accessory to a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
