An injection-molded plastic kit in the small 1:144 scale from the Eastern Express brand. The model represents the multipurpose aircraft Antonov An-3, the turboprop development of the legendary An-2 biplane. The small scale suits collectors and display cases.
The Antonov An-3 is a single-engined multipurpose biplane that came about by modernizing the proven An-2 with a turboprop power unit. It served agricultural, transport and utility duties in demanding conditions. Compared with the piston-engined An-2 it offered higher performance and load.
In 1:144 scale the parts are small, so work with a sharp knife, tweezers and liquid cement. Glue the struts and bracing of the biplane patiently and let them dry thoroughly. Small areas are best painted with an airbrush, and treat the decals with gloss and matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
