The 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine gun is one of the most widespread heavy machine guns; it is in use to this day on vehicles, aircraft and ships. The ammunition came in M2A1 metal boxes, which became an iconic accessory of military hardware. The set brings these elements into the large 1:16 scale with faithful detail of the rounds, the belt and the box.
Separate the photo-etched and, where applicable, turned parts from the fret, glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and degrease them before painting. The brass of the rounds can be brought out with suitable shades and washes, while the sheet metal box will take markings and wear for a realistic look.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The vehicle, the gun, glues and paints are not included in the package.
