Arabic Family, a set of five civilian figures in 1:16 scale from MAiM. A family group that brings life and a story into a civilian diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of five figures from MAiM portrays a civilian family group. The large 1:16 scale gives every figure enough room for detail and makes the whole set the basis of a scene: instead of a single figure you get a whole composition with its own internal dynamics.
A family group suits everyday civilian scenes: a street, a market, a yard, a bus stop or a trip to the shops. Five figures let you work with spacing and with relationships within a scene, so part of the group can walk ahead while part hangs back, and the viewer's eye then travels naturally through the composition. The figures are compatible with vehicles and props in 1:16 scale.
Clean the castings up, wash them and prime them. With a group of figures it pays to plan the color palette in advance, so that the figures harmonize without merging together; alternate muted and stronger shades of clothing. A fine wash will bring out the folds of the cloth, and we recommend shading the faces with oil paints. A single matte clear coat will visually unify the whole group.
The figures are supplied unpainted, as castings to be cleaned up and painted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
