Aber – Browning M-1919 A4, a two-part barrel (1:16) is a turned metal replacement for the barrel of the American machine gun for a faithful detail on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This turned metal barrel from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale replaces the plastic barrel of the American Browning M-1919 A4 machine gun with an accurate two-part imitation. It is not a model but a detail accessory that gives the weapon a realistic profile and faithful dimensions.
The Browning M-1919 A4 was an American air-cooled machine gun of 7.62 mm caliber widely used during the Second World War both as an infantry and as a vehicle weapon. A characteristic part of it is the perforated barrel cooling jacket, which the turned version captures faithfully.
Separate the metal parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The two-part design allows an accurate fit of the jacket and the muzzle. Degrease the metal before painting, apply a primer and then a matte metal paint with light weathering.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
