The subject is a Soviet officer in the period uniform of 1941 to 1945. The figure is treated factually and as a display piece; the larger 1:16 scale makes it a standalone collector's item on which painting techniques on the face and the details of the dress stand out.
This is a multi-part resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove any mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks and lugs off carefully and clean the surfaces with a file or abrasive paper with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any gaps. Apply a thin primer before painting; figures are usually painted with acrylics, oils or enamels, layering the shades step by step and working out the shadows and highlights on the face, the uniform and the equipment.
The resin figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
