A collector plastic kit in 1:20 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. It joins the popular little robot MechatroWeGo with motifs of the famous anime series Evangelion. The robot itself is assembled as a rule without glue (snap-fit), while the enclosed resin figure does call for glue. A decal sheet is in the package as well. The model is supplied unassembled.
MechatroWeGo is a cute working robot from the workshop of the artist behind the Maschinen Krieger series, popular for its rounded shapes and its collector playfulness. In collaboration with Evangelion it takes over the colors and the symbols of the well known EVA units, and a character from this universe accompanies it. It is a rewarding subject for fans of anime as well as for desk decoration.
The snap-fit parts of the robot can be assembled even without glue, but painting them is advisable for strength and a better surface. Wash the mold release agent off the resin figure before gluing and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. The color schemes of the EVA units come into their own with an airbrush and fine accenting of the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
