Mundial Poster is a printed paper accessory for a diorama with the motif of a poster for the football World Cup, according to the name usable in 1:24 and 1:35 scale alike. It is not a kit and not a waterslide decal, but a sheet to be cut out and glued on.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet from the manufacturer ETA diorama belongs among the paper accessories for building dioramas and vignettes. The name states two scales, 1:24 and 1:35, so the sheet is not tied to a single one of them; while building, you check the size by laying it against the figure or the building you are combining the poster with. The sheet is therefore not tied to a single fixed scale.
A poster on a wall, a fence or a post gives an urban scene a civilian dimension and sets it in a particular time. Unlike signs and markings it carries color, so it creates an accent on an otherwise gray facade and draws the eye to the place where the main action of the diorama takes place. It is a good idea to place it at a height matching a person's line of sight, so that the proportions of the scene match.
Cut the motif out with a sharp scalpel along a rule; check the edges, so that no white cut remains. Glue with thin PVA glue applied thinly to the undercoat and to the reverse. The paper softens with the moisture and clings to the texture of render or boards; press it down with a soft brush from the center outward. If you want a poster pasted around a corner, bend it while damp over the edge and let it dry pressed down, so that it does not lift.
An outdoor poster ages fast. Suggest a faded upper part with a fine hint of light paint, add dust and streaks from running water at the lower edge and leave the corners torn or slightly lifted. Mute the saturation of the printing with a very thinned filter in the tone of the undercoat. A final matte clear coat unifies the sheen with the wall and protects the printing from rubbing.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
