According to the name, besides the machine itself the package also holds two figures — an officer and a driver. Begomol is a walker, that is, a machine that moves on legs instead of on wheels or tracks; in the world of the Front46 range it is listed as an assault asset of the Soviet side. Check the contents of the package once it arrives. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Begomol is an invented machine, not real equipment — no such asset was ever built or committed. The Front46 range works with an alternative take on the middle of the 1940s and combines period-flavored shapes, gear and proportions with technical solutions that never existed in reality. The walking design rests on a massive body carried by jointed limbs, so the model differs markedly from a classic vehicle kit above all in its statics and in the way it carries mass upward.
First wash the parts and let them dry, cut off the remains of the gates and any supports and level the surfaces; sand wet and with respiratory protection. Glue the heavier parts with super glue and, on the load-bearing joints, consider reinforcement with a wire pin — on a walker the whole mass is carried by only a few joints. Before fixing the legs, set them out dry and find a position in which the machine stands both stably and naturally; a symmetrical stance looks static. Build the painting up from a primer, shade the base tone into highlights on the upper surfaces and deepen the shadows with a thinned dark tone. The lower parts, the feet and the joints take the most wear — dust, mud and rubbing with a dry brush. Fit the figures only once the machine is finished.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
