A decal sheet in 1:24 for a model of the British Hawker Typhoon Mk Ib fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Typhoon Mk Ib was a British single-seat aircraft of the Second World War. It originally came about as a fighter, but it made its name mainly against ground targets, where it drew on great speed at low level and on heavy armament. It was powered by the Napier Sabre piston engine with its cylinders arranged in an H, which was an unusual and exceptionally powerful form of power for its day.
This is a decal sheet in 1:24, that is for large models, on which the markings are clearly visible and a badly made print would spoil the impression at first glance. The sheet adds markings that a kit need not provide for, and so widens the choice of machines you can build.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version; a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With the usual waterslide version, spray the surface with a gloss coat, cut the motif out, soak it in lukewarm water and after a moment slide it off the backing paper onto the dampened spot. Settle it, draw the water off with a soft cloth and use a decal softener on the riveting. Once dry, give the surface a clear coat so that the edges of the print disappear.
The decal sheet alone is supplied. The model, the paints and the varnishes are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
