An injection-molded plastic kit of the small sporting Mazda AZ-1 car (internal code PG6SA) of 1992 in 1:24 scale from the Japanese company Aoshima. The kit, from the range of tuned cars, captures the vehicle in the Mazdaspeed form. The box usually contains parts such as a front spoiler, a hood, a rear wing and an exhaust, two variants of alloy wheels, rubber tires, clear and chromed parts, a sheet of decals and masking stickers for the window frames.
The Mazda AZ-1 is a kei sports car of the Japanese 1990s era, exceptional for a body with gullwing doors and an engine mounted in the middle of the car behind the occupants. Despite its small dimensions and engine capacity it offered a lively character on the road and remains one of the prized compact sporting legends to this day.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, clean the small body up carefully and spray it with an airbrush to a smooth gloss. The gullwing doors call for accurate seating of the hinges. Use a gloss clear coat under the decals and leave the chromed parts glossy.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
