An HGW detail accessory with seat belts for the cockpit of a model of the British twin-engined combat aircraft de Havilland Mosquito in 1:24 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a set of belts of fine woven cloth with printed stitching and brass photo-etched buckles. The soft material allows the belts to be folded and to drape faithfully.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British multi-role twin-engined aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure, deployed as a fast bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. A large scale reveals the cabin interior, where faithful belts complete the overall impression.
Separate the buckles and bend them, and the cloth can be toned and weathered gently. Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and the cloth can also be fixed with PVA glue.
This is an aftermarket accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
