This Fujimi kit in 1:24 scale represents the Nissan Cedric/Gloria luxury sedan of the Y31 generation in the top V30 Turbo Brougham VIP trim with a turbocharged 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine. The package holds injection-molded plastic parts, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model is meant to be assembled and painted.
The Cedric and the Gloria were practically identical Nissan luxury sedans sold under two names. The Y31 generation became an icon of Japanese VIP sedan culture. The top Brougham VIP trim with the turbocharged V30 Turbo engine meant the utmost in comfort and presence, popular among admirers of modified VIP cars as well.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Treat the body with primer and paint it with an airbrush; a gloss clear coat will bring out the stately look of the sedan. Pay attention to the chrome trim strips and to the richly equipped interior typical of the VIP version. Apply the decals over a gloss base.
