This plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi in 1:24 scale captures the Porsche 911 Carrera RS in its 1974 version. With its automotive kits Fujimi has long counted among the specialists in European sports cars, and the 911 line is one of its classic themes.
The Porsche 911 Carrera RS is the top sporting derivative of the first generation of the 911 line. It followed on from the famous Carrera RS of 1973 and combined a lightened body with an air-cooled flat-six mounted at the rear. Thanks to its low weight, sharp chassis and prominent aerodynamic features it became one of the most prized road-going Porsches ever and to this day ranks among the most expensive collector pieces of the marque.
After sanding the mold seams, prime the body and spray it with a gloss paint in several thin coats; a final gloss clear coat and polishing will give the model the look of real paintwork. Matte shades and detailed painting of the instrument panel will help the interior, and the decals should go onto a gloss surface. Bond the chrome and rubber parts with a glue that does not attack glossy surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
