Aber 1:24 standard slotted brake discs, 14 mm in diameter is a universal photo-etched metal set for a faithful rendering of slotted brake discs on a model of a car.
Responsibility details are not available.
A universal photo-etched metal set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:24 scale for building detailed slotted brake discs 14 mm in diameter. It is not a model but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic discs with a faithful metal imitation with the slots. The set is conceived as a universal part for various models of cars.
Slotted brake discs have milled slots around the circumference, which carry the gases and dirt away and improve the bite of the brake pads. They are used on sporting and high-performance cars.
Cut the parts from the fret, glue any layers together with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fit them onto the wheel hub. The metal surface can be painted in a steel or graphite shade and accented with a wash for an effect of wear.
This is a universal accessory, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
