A set of two standing civilian figures in 1:24 scale of injection-molded polystyrene from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. It belongs to its series of figures with a crime subject, which are built as an accessory to car models and to diorama scenes. The figures are modeled as a pair of armed men in civilian clothing and body armor vests, captured in action; it is a genre composition, not a historical subject.
In the box you will find sprues with the parts of both figures, that is, torso, head, limbs and small gear. The 1:24 scale matches ordinary car kits, so the figures serve above all as a comparison of scale and to bring a scene beside a car model to life. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for polystyrene and clean the parting lines up carefully; on figures they show above all on the arms and on the face. Before painting it pays to spray the whole with a base coat, so that the relief stands out. Faces and hands are painted best by gradually lightening the skin tone, while clothing on the other hand takes darker shadows and a fine dry brushing of the edges. Accent the small gear with a dark wash.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
