Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the British destroyer HMS Harvester in 1:700 scale, worked up in the state corresponding to 1943. The manufacturer is IBG models, a Polish brand devoted among other things to smaller warships in small scales. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the exact contents of the package are given in the instructions and on the box.
The H-class destroyers belonged to the interwar generation of British escort and reconnaissance destroyers. They were fairly small, fast ships with a simple layout: gun mountings forward and aft, torpedo tubes amidships and light antiaircraft armament. HMS Harvester was one of the units of this class that served in the Atlantic with the escort groups during the war. The 1943 state corresponds to the later form of the ship with added equipment for escort duty, which differs from the original interwar form.
In 1:700 scale clean work decides everything: cut the parts off the sprue with a sharp knife or cutters and sand the remains of the gates down, so that the superstructure sits level. First decide whether you want the model with a full hull or in waterline form on a base with a water surface. Painting is more practical done in subassemblies, because the decks are hard to reach once everything is assembled. Separate the deck and the side finishes by masking, pick the fine details out with a thin wash, and antennas or rigging can be replaced with stretched monofilament line. Finally even the model out with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
