This is a turned metal gun barrel from the manufacturer RB model. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory with which you replace the plastic gun barrel of a finished model. The metal gun barrel has a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and a finely rendered recoil cylinder, which injection-molded plastic can hardly achieve.
The 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/43 gun was the main armament of the German StuG III assault gun in the Ausf. F version from 1942. The long gun barrel, 43 calibers long, substantially increased the penetrating power and turned an originally infantry support vehicle into an effective tank destroyer on the Eastern Front.
Clean any burrs off the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. For reliable paint adhesion apply a metal primer, and only then the shade and the weathering. Metal takes fine sanding without any risk of deforming the muzzle.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
