An interior equipment set for a car model. The car is not in the package; you get the seats alone, with which the simplified part from a kit can be swapped out. It is exactly the interior that tends to be clearly visible through the windows on cars at this scale, so a seat is among the first things that give away how much care the builder put into the work.
Recaro is a German maker of seats with a long trace in motorsport and in series car production alike. The SR line is sporting seats with high side support and cutouts for the belts, popular above all on Japanese modified cars. Against a full bucket shell they offer a more comfortable shape and a folding back, so they appear even in cars that besides the circuit also run on the road.
A seat comes off best when the upholstery is matte and the sides are a shade lighter, so that the shape of the shell stands out. Suggest the stitching with a dark line drawn into the groove, and the texture of the fabric with a light coat sprayed from a greater distance. The rails and the bracket under the cushion can take a dark graphite tone. Before gluing it into the tub of the interior, stand the seat dry in place and check that the frame will still go under it.
