A brass photo-etched detail set 1:32 AEG G.IV – bomb rack for a faithful treatment of the bomb racks and carriers of the German bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts for refining the bomb racks and carriers of the twin-engined bomber AEG G.IV in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to a plastic kit, which replaces the coarser plastic parts with a fine metal structure.
The AEG G.IV was a German twin-engined biplane bomber of the First World War, powered by a pair of Mercedes inline engines. The bomb armament was carried on racks outside the fuselage, and this set allows them to be rendered more realistically than a plastic casting can.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and form them over a metal ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and use a metal primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
