A sheet of wet decals for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 ground attack aircraft in the large 1:32 scale. According to the name it offers three camouflage variants, so a modeler can pick the pattern that best matches the references available or the color scheme chosen. It is not a kit: the sheet holds markings only.
The Fw 190 F-8 is the ground attack pattern of the German single-seat aircraft with a radial engine, derived from the A-8 fighter version. It has strengthened armor protection of the lower fuselage and racks for bomb loads. A sturdy structure and wide-track landing gear allowed operation from unpaved airstrips. In the large 1:32 scale the busy surface of the type stands out, so both accurate markings and the weathering that follows come into their own on a model.
Think the choice of variant through first, as the camouflage scheme and the markings belong together, so make the choice before you paint the model. Varnish the areas under the decals with gloss clear coat, settle the designs on plenty of water and once the position is lined up soak the water up with a cloth from the center outwards. Use a softener on the panel lines and the riveting. Prick any bubbles with the tip of a scalpel and press them down with a damp cloth. Once everything has dried perfectly, varnish the model with one even matte or semi-matte coat; only after that is it right to work with washes and pigments.
This is a decal sheet in its own right, not a kit. The model, paints, varnishes and softener are not included in the package.
