This is a resin kit for experienced modelers of the small DMC Logan T-40 airfield tow tractor in the USAF version in 1:32 scale. The model is cast in resin and serves to complement an airfield scene around large aircraft models. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Aerobonus (Aires), which specializes in resin airfield equipment and accessories.
Tow tractors of this type serve to tow aircraft and trailers across the apron and in hangars. The compact tractor is a typical element of US Air Force ground support and in 1:32 scale it complements a diorama of a large aircraft well.
As with any resin kit, first wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mold seams down (with respiratory protection). It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, then spray the matching shades of USAF airfield equipment; washes and pigments will add working wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
