This set from the Czech maker Eduard holds photo-etched parts of thin sheet for building a boarding ladder for the Eurofighter Typhoon (EF 2000) fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a stand-alone accessory for an effective presentation of a model.
The assembled photo-etched ladder makes it possible to show the aircraft in the pose of boarding the cockpit and to bring a diorama or a display case to life. The thin sheet captures the slender lattice structure faithfully, which plastic cannot manage at this scale.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, form the bends over a metal bending tool and glue with super glue or epoxy. Align the assembly carefully and degrease the sheet before painting. We recommend reinforcing the joints for stiffness.
This is an add-on set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
