Eduard 1:32 F-4 exhaust nozzles USN late is a resin (Brassin) set from Eduard with the engine exhaust nozzles for a model of the naval F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech maker Eduard, usually supplemented with photo-etch. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: the set contains accurately rendered engine exhaust nozzles in the late form for the naval (USN) versions of the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. The late nozzle type with the larger diameter matches the later engine versions with afterburner.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was powered by General Electric J79 turbojets. The late engine versions had a larger exhaust nozzle; in the navy they corresponded for example to the F-4J and F-4S versions. The set usually also contains a replacement for the compressor faces at the ends of the intake ducts.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with heat transitions before closing it. Bend the photo-etched elements over an edge.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
