Eduard 1:32 F-4 exhaust nozzle USAF late version is a resin (Brassin) set from Eduard with the engine exhaust nozzles for the model of the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set from the Brassin line by the Czech maker Eduard, usually supplemented with photo-etch. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: the set holds faithfully rendered engine exhaust nozzles in the late form for the US Air Force (USAF) versions of the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. The late type of nozzle had a larger diameter and matches the later versions of the engine.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was powered by a pair of General Electric J79 jet engines. The late versions of the engine had a larger exhaust nozzle with afterburning; the later USAF machines match that form.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with soot and heat transitions before it is closed up. Bend the photo-etched features over an edge.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
