Voyager Model 1:35 Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2/G is a photo-etched add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a standalone model. The brass photo-etched parts replace the thin sheet-metal areas of the tank, which injection-molded plastic handles only in coarser form. Intended for the Dragon 6360 kit.

An aftermarket detail set from Voyager Model in 1:35 scale. It is prepared for the Dragon 6360 plastic kit and replaces some of its parts with photo-etched brass sheet. It is not a tank kit but an accessory for the build. The scope of the set follows from the contents of the package and the enclosed instructions.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 and the Ausf. G that followed were versions of the German medium tank of the Second World War which received a long-barreled 7.5 cm gun in place of the original short weapon meant for infantry support. That change turned the Pz.Kpfw. IV into a full-fledged anti-tank asset and set the course for the further development of the type. Vehicles of the two versions differed in details of the muzzle brake, the vision ports and the add-on armor.
Photo-etched brass comes from the factory with a thin layer of process oil, plus grease from your fingers. Neither paint nor primer will adhere to such a surface, and they come away at the first handling or masking. The procedure is simple and cannot be skipped: wash the parts while still on the fret in warm water with dish soap, or wipe them with alcohol, from then on touch them only with tweezers or through a glove, and lay on a thin primer for metal. Only then does the paint follow. If you are gluing the photo-etched parts on after the model is painted, sand the paint away down to the plastic at the contact point, because cyanoacrylate holds considerably worse on paint than on a bare surface.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit and is not a standalone model. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
