HGW Free Lines Airplane Nails (1:32) is a set of raised (three-dimensional) rivets in the form of decals for a faithful imitation of riveting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory for plastic models of aircraft in 1:32 scale, not the model itself. The set holds free rows of raised (standing out, three-dimensional) rivets on a carrier film, which are applied like a wet decal. On the surface of a model they create fine raised riveting and increase the realism of the skin.
The rivets are cut off to the length needed and applied like a classic decal, that is, after soaking they are slid off the backing onto the model. Free rows with no fixed shape mean that the modeler decides the length and the spacing according to need.
First spray the surface with a filler primer (surfacer). Lay the rivets on, squeeze the water out from under them and let them dry; then peel the film off carefully and wash the remains of the adhesive away. It is recommended to apply them under the paint and, once it is varnished, to polish the surface, so that the riveting stands out.
The set does not hold a model of the aircraft; it is a separate detail accessory for the surface detail.
