A resin figure in 1:32 depicting the second crew member of the German twin-engine Gotha bomber of the First World War period. The casting is meant as an accessory to a large model of the aircraft or for an airfield diorama and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Gotha was a line of German twin-engine bombers of the First World War with a multi-member crew. Besides the pilot there were further stations on board for crew members who worked the flexible guns, watched the surroundings and saw to releasing the load. Open stations and long flights at altitude meant that flying was done in a warm leather outfit with a helmet, goggles and gloves.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent and free it of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the surfaces wet and with protection for your airways. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). If you are placing the figure in an open station of the model, try the position dry while the fuselage is accessible. After the primer, paint with a brush and build the leather outfit up in layers from a darker base, as a fine wash will bring the folds out.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
