A resin figure in 1:32 from the second line of crew figures of the German twin-engine Gotha bomber. It is not a model of an aircraft but a separate modeling accessory meant for a large aircraft model or for a diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not part of the package.
The crew of the Gotha bombers moved about in several open spaces of the fuselage and was fully exposed to the weather. From there comes the characteristic kit the figure carries: a leather coverall or coat, a leather helmet, protective goggles and gloves. The large scale of 1:32 allows even small things such as the buckles, the seams and the texture of the leather to be captured.
Before painting, wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, sand the surfaces down with protection for your airways and join the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a thin primer, then paint the skin and the leather parts in layers with acrylic paints. Oil paints or a wash will deepen the shadows, and a matte coat evens the surface out at the end. If you place the figure in a diorama, check its stance against the model dry first.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
