The Artillery models 1:32 mask set for the Hurricane Mk.IIb is a set of pre-cut masks for painting a model of the British fighter. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive masks in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Artillery models, intended for painting a model of the Hawker Hurricane in the Mk.IIb version. The package contains neither a model nor any building parts. It is an aid for the painting stage, that is precisely cut shapes that define the areas on the model protected from sprayed paint.
Before applying them, wash the model in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let it dry thoroughly. Grease from your fingers is the most common reason a mask does not hold. Transfer the mask into place, press the edges down and spray straight down from above, not at an angle under the edge. Guide the airbrush so that the paint does not shoot in a stream under the edge of the mask. After spraying, lift the mask off while the paint is not yet fully cured and correct any small inaccuracies with a fine-tipped brush.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb was a British single-engine fighter with machine gun armament housed in the wing. The fuselage structure was based on a lattice frame covered with fabric, a solution from an older generation than an all-metal monocoque, but convenient for quick repairs. The Mk.II series received a more powerful engine and was also used in the fighter-bomber role, carrying drop tanks or bombs.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included. The set is cut for a particular kit in 1:32 scale.
