About product

Kawanishi N1K2-J instrument panel - 1:32 (Yahu Models)

A ready-made colored photo-etched instrument panel in 1:32 scale for models of the Japanese Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden-Kai fighter. The panel comes painted from the manufacturer, with faithfully printed dials and labels, and is ready to be fitted straight into the cockpit with no painting.

What the panel brings

  • Crisply legible dials and instruments with colored detail
  • A realistic cockpit without laboriously painting the dials
  • Thin photo-etched material with fine relief
  • A marked improvement over the plastic part from the box

Fitting

Separate the panel carefully, put the layers together if the instructions call for it and glue it in place of the original instrument panel. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) holds firmly; remove the surplus of the plastic panel beforehand so that the part sits flush.

Who it is for

For modelers building the N1K2-J in 1:32 scale who want a detailed and legible cockpit quickly and without painting.

This is a detailing accessory, not an aircraft kit. The model and paints are not included in the package.

FAQ

No, the panel comes finished and colored from the manufacturer; you just glue it into the cockpit.

No, this is the instrument panel alone. You need to have the N1K2-J model in 1:32 scale separately.

Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) holds best, once the original plastic part has been removed.
