1:32 North American Rockwell OV-10A Bronco is a decal sheet from the brand Caracal Models. An accessory for a plastic kit, not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the brand Caracal Models for models of the twin-boom observation and light combat aircraft OV-10A Bronco in 1:32 scale. The sheet carries the markings of the machines given by the manufacturer on the packaging: the number of schemes and the particular units you will find on the packaging and in the instructions supplied. Before buying, please compare what the manufacturer gives on the packaging with the kit you want to build. The package contains decals only.
The OV-10 Bronco is an American twin-engined turboprop aircraft of unusual construction: a short nacelle with a glazed cockpit, two tail booms and a high-set wing. It was designed for observation, for the control of fire support and for operation from short unpaved strips, with the emphasis on a good view and undemanding maintenance in field conditions. The OV-10A version was the basic production variant. The layout of the surface of the aircraft is specific for modelers: on it the decals meet the booms, the nacelles and extensive glazing.
The broken surface of the Bronco is the main reason why with this type it pays to devote time to trimming the carrier film. The less clear margin stays around the printing, the less it will meet riveting, panel joints and the transitions between the booms and the wing at its edge. Cut close, therefore, with round markings using a circular punch or small scissors. On places where a decal passes over a sharp edge, lay a stronger softener on and let it work: the film softens, wrinkles and, once dry, draws itself on. Do not interfere with the wrinkles, as they level out by themselves. Around the glazing work with a minimum of water, so that it does not run under the masking tape. Once dry, seal the decals with varnish and only then lay the patina on, as otherwise the transition of the film would be revealed when the wash was wiped off.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
