Eduard 1:32 P-40M landing flaps is a photo-etched set for detailing the landing flaps of a model of the Curtiss P-40M fighter. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard focused on the landing flaps of a model of the Curtiss P-40M fighter in 1:32 scale. The metal parts make it possible to replace the thick-walled plastic flaps with a fine structure and, if you like, to set them in the lowered position. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit.
The set refines the landing flaps and their inner structure, the ribs and the mountings. Lowered flaps bring the silhouette of a standing model markedly to life and bring it closer to a real aircraft on the ground.
The Curtiss P-40M was one of the later production versions of the American P-40 fighter of the Second World War, designated Kittyhawk Mk. III in Allied service. It was a single-engine all-metal fighter and fighter-bomber.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade, form the bends with a bending tool and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a glue for etching. Cut the plastic flaps off carefully and plan the setting of the flaps in advance. Once painted, the fine structure comes out well.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
