Eduard 1:32 P-51B is a photo-etched brass set for detailing a plastic model of the P-51B Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for upgrading one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of thin photo-etched brass parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard intended for detailing a plastic model of the P-51B Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory that replaces or complements selected plastic parts with finer metal elements and markedly raises the fidelity of a finished model.
The North American P-51B Mustang was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War. The B version brought the license-built British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine (the Packard V-1650), which gave the Mustang performance at high altitude as well and turned it into one of the most successful escort fighters. It is also marked by the razorback canopy that preceded the later bubble hood.
Nip the parts carefully out of the fret, clean them up and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger surfaces can also be soldered. Make the bends over a sharp edge or in a photo-etch bending tool. Degrease the surface before applying paint. Working with fine photo-etched parts calls for tweezers, patience and precision.
This is an accessory, not a model. The airplane kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
