Eduard 1:48 Lynx HMA.8 painting masks are precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks for easy painting of the glazing of a model of the British Westland Lynx HMA.8 shipborne helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks is intended for a plastic model of the British Westland Lynx HMA.8 naval helicopter in 1:48 scale. The masks in thin kabuki film follow the frames of the glazed cabin exactly, so that you paint the helicopter's large glazed areas quickly and with crisp transitions. This is an accessory for painting, not the model itself.
The Westland Lynx HMA.8 is a British multirole shipborne helicopter of the Royal Navy, operated from surface ships. It serves to fight surface vessels and submarines and carries specialized sensors including a radar and a stabilized optical system. It came about by modernizing the older naval versions of the Lynx to the Super Lynx standard and is notable for more powerful engines and improved rotors.
Move the masks onto clean glazing with tweezers and press them carefully against the edges of the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush, so that it does not run under a mask. Once dry, take the masks off carefully.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
