A printed sheet with pine wood grain in a natural shade, 1:32 scale. A wet transfer for areas where bare wood is to be seen.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pine has a striking grain: a light ground into which darker stripes of growth rings and knots converge. It was exactly this timber that the load-bearing frames of aircraft were built from in the days before metal construction, and it is also visible on floors, boarding and simple equipment. Reproducing such a drawing by hand is slow, and when it is repeated over several parts the shade usually drifts apart. A ready print solves that in one stroke.
A continuous area with pine wood grain in a natural, that is untinted shade, prepared for 1:32 scale. In the large scale the structure of the wood reads well, so it pays to watch which way the fibers run: along a spar, across the area on plywood covering, from the root to the tip on a propeller blade. The sheet carries no ready-cut part shapes; they are cut from it using a template traced from the kit part. The remainder of the sheet can also be used to wrap small items such as crates and tool handles.
A printed sheet is supplied, that is an accessory for the build. The model, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
