The designation of the particular machines, the units and the number of schemes you will find on the packaging and in the instructions supplied: go by what the manufacturer gives on the packaging, which you should compare before buying with the kit you want to build. The package contains decals only, and the model is not part of it.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multirole combat aircraft with a tailless delta layout and a canard foreplane, developed in international cooperation. The designation FGR.4 is used by the Royal Air Force for the single-seat multirole version able to carry out tasks in combat against air as well as ground targets. British Typhoons have repeatedly appeared in commemorative finishes tied to anniversaries; such colorings are temporary, are carried only on selected machines and tend to differ markedly from the ordinary gray operational finish.
With commemorative colorings a substantial part of the sheet consists of large areas that cover the fuselage or the tail surfaces as a whole. With these the order of work is the most important thing: the base coat has to be perfectly cured and coated with gloss varnish, because a large decal takes longer to settle and fresh paint is easily disturbed under water. Grant the area plenty of water so that it can be moved, and run it on from one end; as soon as it starts to dry on, it can no longer be shifted. Press the air out with a soft rubber squeegee or with a finger through a dampened paper towel, always from the center outward. Treat sharp edges and the transitions on the leading edges with softener repeatedly, but always in a thin coat. Once everything has dried, unify the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish: with large decals the difference in sheen is otherwise apparent across the whole side of the model.
