The photo-etched set RE.8 Interior with a decal in 1:32 scale from HGW brings brass parts and a decal for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of this British reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT an airplane model but a brass photo-etched set with a decal in 1:32 scale aimed at the interior. It holds fine metal parts for a detailed rendering of the cockpit of the British reconnaissance and artillery observation aircraft RE.8, completed by a decal of instruments and lettering. Photo-etch captures the levers, the seats, the instrument panels and the frame structure of the inside faithfully.
The RE.8 was a British two-seat reconnaissance and observation biplane of the First World War, nicknamed Harry Tate. It served above all for artillery observation and photographic reconnaissance over the front. Despite how widespread it was, it was among the less agile machines, yet it did an immense amount of work.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends over the scored lines. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, and apply the decal onto a smooth gloss base with a decal softener. The interior comes out well once painted and the detail is brought out with a wash.
This is an accessory for raising the level of detail of a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
