Eduard 1:350 SMS Emden, part 1 is a photo-etched detail set for sharpening up a model of the German light cruiser of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a ship model. This first part of the set brings fine brass parts for sharpening up a model of the German light cruiser SMS Emden in 1:350 scale: railings, ladders, fine deck equipment and other elements that replace coarser plastic castings. The set is laid out as part 1; a separate second part follows on from it. The model itself, glue and paints are not included.
SMS Emden was a German light cruiser that in 1914 made her name as a successful commerce raider in the Indian Ocean. In a few months of operations she disrupted Allied shipping before she was sunk in action off the Cocos Islands. The ship became one of the iconic vessels of the start of the First World War.
The accessory does not contain the model, glue or paints.
