A set of fabric seat belts, 1:32 SE.5a, with photo-etched fittings for a faithful cockpit of the British fighter of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of the SE.5a fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
The SE.5a was a British single-seat fighter biplane of the First World War. Thanks to its sturdy structure, good speed and steady gun platform it ranked, together with the Sopwith Camel, among the most successful Allied fighters of the end of the war.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
