The resin set Soviet Fighter Pilot with ejection seat in 1:32 scale contains a figure of a Soviet fighter pilot together with an ejection seat for the MiG-21 and MiG-23 types.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory cast in resin that brings two things together at once: a figure of a pilot in flight gear and an ejection seat matching the MiG-21 and MiG-23 fighters. The seat itself tends to be simplified in plastic kits, so replacing it moves the look of the cockpit noticeably forward, even on a model with the canopy open, where the cockpit is clearly visible.
Soviet fighters of the 1960s to the 1980s were light, fast machines with limited room in the cockpit. The pilot sat in a bulky flight suit with a helmet and an oxygen mask, because flying at high altitude and maneuvers under heavy g-loads allowed nothing else. That is exactly why a fighter cockpit of the period feels so tight, which is an advantage when building in a large scale: the difference between an empty cockpit and a manned one is immediately obvious.
Wash the castings in warm soapy water so that any mold release residue disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, level the surface, and protect your breathing when sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting the seat into the cockpit, try it dry, because every plastic kit has a cockpit tub of a different depth.
This is not an aircraft model, but an accessory for one. It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin casting, without paints and without glue.
